SPECIAL ELECTION VOTE IS THIS TUESDAY, DEC. 12; 4 candidates running for 1 Board seat
Four residents submitted petitions to fill one seat via a Special Election to the West Irondequoit CSD Board of Education. The petition deadline was Monday, Nov. 13. The candidates are (as listed on the ballot after a blind draw): Melissa N. Bohrer, Gary Adams, Mike Fischer and Tamara Wall.

The vote will be on Tuesday, Dec. 12th at District Office from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parking will be avaiable in front of the building.
Voter qualifications are the same as the annual Board of Education election each May. The newly elected candidate will start immediately following the election and serve through June 30, 2025, fulfilling the original term of the seat vacated by Courtney Shouse. The West Irondequoit Central PTSA will host a Meet the Candidates’ Night on Monday, Nov. 27 at District Office, 321 List Ave., at 6:30 p.m. A video of that will be posted on the District YouTube channel.
